LIS recognizes the importance of privacy and the sensitivity of personal information. LIS has been, and continues to be, committed to maintaining the accuracy, confidentiality and security of the personal information it collects. In addition, LIS is required to comply with provincial privacy legislation. Scope

However, any information collected by LIS in the course of carrying out the duties delegated to it by the Government of Alberta may be disclosed by LIS only in certain limited circumstances, whether that information relates to an individual or to a corporation.
